Cardichu Jacksonville gives Northeast Florida collectors a Halloween stop built around cards, trading, and a choice of admission options. The October 31 show brings Pokémon, sports cards, and several other TCGs to Jacksonville, with free general admission for anyone planning a daytime hobby outing before evening plans.
Schultz Center provides the conference-venue setting, and the organizer has published an occurrence-specific vendor list to help you plan your visit. The useful decision before leaving home is whether you want the paid early-entry hour or the free public session, since those options have different entry and doorbuster rules.
A Full Day of Cards & Collectibles
The Jacksonville event announcement names Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, sports cards, and Lorcana. It also includes anime collectibles, figures, plushies, and accessories, giving a group with different interests several reasons to browse. These are advertised categories rather than a guarantee that a particular card, set, or product will be available.
Buying, selling, and trading are all part of the advertised format. That makes the show useful for collectors who want to discuss a possible deal face to face, whether the goal is adding a card or finding someone interested in a trade. Participation in a transaction still depends on the individual vendor or collector, so ask before presenting cards for sale or trade.
The organizer's vendor list includes handles such as @Kingswaycollects, @904-TCG, @jaxharborcards, and @collectorscanopy. Several businesses occupy multiple numbered positions, so treat the list as a way to identify possible stops rather than as a count of independent sellers. If you already follow a listed vendor, checking their own announcements can help you decide which table to visit first without assuming their entire usual inventory is coming.
More Than Just a Card Show
Halloween falls on Saturday this year, making the public session a daytime option before evening celebrations. Cardichu promotes this Jacksonville occurrence with a seasonal theme, but the practical draw remains the card floor and collector community. You can build the visit around browsing and conversation without needing a separate evening commitment.
VIP early entry runs from 10 AM to 11 AM and costs $16.74. General admission begins at 11 AM and continues until 5 PM. The extra hour may suit someone who wants to start browsing before public opening, while the free session offers a straightforward option for families or anyone fitting the show around other Saturday plans.
The linked VIP ticket rules deserve attention before choosing a tier. A scannable ticket is required for VIP entry, and the organizer specifies a separate VIP entrance. Early VIP admission does not qualify for doorbuster prizes. Anyone seeking doorbuster eligibility must enter through the general admission line, and the organizer says it does not offer saved places or allow line cutting. General raffles and prizes include both admission tiers, so doorbusters and other prize opportunities should not be treated as the same benefit.
A Show for All Levels of Collectors
For a first visit, use your admission choice to set your arrival plan. A free admission visit starts with the public opening; an early-entry visit requires the appropriate VIP ticket. Follow staff directions for the correct line when you arrive, especially if doorbuster eligibility matters to you. The venue advertises free parking, which helps keep the cost of a general admission outing simple.
Schultz Center is on Boulevard Center Drive. Use the full venue address when setting navigation, and allow time between reaching the property and entering the show. The venue contains multiple event spaces, so look for Cardichu directions on arrival rather than assuming every room belongs to the card show. Parking availability and the specific event entrance can vary with activity at the property.
For collectors with a particular game in mind, the range of advertised categories is a reason to explore beyond the first relevant table. Comparing available copies in person can help you judge condition and presentation before deciding on a purchase. Ask vendors what they brought for your game, and keep expectations specific to what is actually on offer that day. Families can take the same approach by choosing a few interests to explore together instead of treating the whole floor as a checklist.
