The Knoxville Card Show gives East Tennessee collectors an October Saturday built around sports cards, Pokémon, and memorabilia. Upper Cumberland Cards brings its regional series to a school setting, offering a local destination for people whose collecting interests span both sports and trading card games.
Knoxville Christian School is the destination for this occurrence. For a first visit, the useful distinction is between the organizer's regional brand and the actual show location: Upper Cumberland Cards operates in several Tennessee cities, so choose its Knoxville stop when checking directions and planning your day.
A Full Day of Cards & Collectibles
October falls within the organizer's updated third-Saturday Knoxville schedule. That matters if you attended an earlier occurrence or saved an older announcement. Use the October date and current public hours rather than assuming the series follows its previous monthly pattern. The show takes place in Eastern time, which is particularly useful to remember if you are driving from the organizer's Middle Tennessee markets.
The advertised collecting mix gives a group more than one reason to attend. A sports cards collector and a Pokémon collector can plan around the same destination, while memorabilia adds another category to explore. Those categories describe the show's scope; individual sellers determine the actual selection. A particular player, set, or sealed release should remain a shopping goal rather than an assumed item on the floor.
The six-hour public window leaves room to choose a morning visit or an afternoon stop. If your plans involve meeting another collector, agree on a time within the attendee schedule. Dealer setup is a separate operational period and should not be treated as permission for early public entry.
More Than Just a Card Show
This Knoxville stop is part of a regional network with a relatively recent local beginning. Upper Cumberland Cards traces its first show to Cookeville in January 2024. Its Knoxville partnership developed with Caleb Johnson, and the first Knoxville occurrence opened at the school in May 2026. The October show therefore sits within the location's first year of operation, rather than representing a new venue debut.
The organizer also operates in McMinnville. That shared identity can make its announcements useful for following the broader community, but it creates a practical planning consideration: a date, venue, or trade-night detail for another city does not automatically apply to Knoxville. Check the location attached to any announcement before adding it to your plans.
Free parking is a useful part of the Saturday budget, alongside the modest entry charge. Food trucks are also promoted across the series, although a specific October lineup is not publicly listed. If lunch affects how long your group can stay, check the organizer's latest information rather than planning around a particular menu or food vendor.
A Show for All Levels of Collectors
For a first-time attendee, the combination of a single school destination and a low admission charge makes the logistics straightforward. Put the school name and full Snyder Road address into navigation before leaving. The venue is Knoxville Christian School, so check that your route points to that exact campus rather than selecting a different school with a similar name.
Families can organize the visit around the categories each person enjoys. Someone interested in Pokémon may want a different pace from a companion focused on sports cards or memorabilia. Agreeing on whether the outing is a short browse or a longer visit helps everyone use the public window comfortably without assuming that every person needs the same collecting goal.
If you plan to buy, keep the admission charge separate from your purchase budget. Seller payment methods and any event reentry arrangements are not publicly specified. Establish those details with the appropriate seller or admission staff before relying on a particular payment option or leaving for a break. The published entry amount also should not be interpreted as an advertised child exemption or family package.
Experienced attendees returning to the series have one especially useful preparation step: check the current Knoxville schedule before setting out. A familiar organizer and venue can make an older saved date feel current. The October occurrence follows the updated cadence, and the organizer's latest calendar is the appropriate reference for this visit.
